A crooked cop, a mob boss and the young girl they abuse are the denizens of a city's criminal underworld. It's a world that ordinary Arthur Poppington doesn't understand and doesn't belong in, but is committed to fighting when he changes into a vigilante super-hero of his own making, Defendor. With no power other than courage Defendor takes to the streets to protect the city's innocents.

A funny, different take on the super hero genre.
Nice real world take on superhero genre.
Nice little grimy feel for the hero films.
This is the lesser of the two dark comedy vigilante movies that came out around the time (the other being Super), but still fun
Woody Harrelson's performance carries this dark superhero movie.
A fun Harrelson movie with a different take on the superhero genre, it isn't well executed nevertheless and feels a little clunky and dated
Low-key drama about a mentally challenged man who befriends a prostitute and decides to use his "Defendor" persona to go after a drug lord.
Woody is great not much else is as good however.
Interesting take on the superhero genre. Woody Harrelson is always fantastic.
A little predictable but I like Woody and Dennings.
