A group of armed robbers fleeing the police head for the New Jersey Tunnel and run right into trucks transporting toxic waste. The spectacular explosion that follows results in both ends of the tunnel collapsing and the handful of people who survived the explosion are now in peril. Kit Latura is the only man with the skill and knowledge to lead the band of survivors out of the tunnel before the structure collapses.

I thought it was entertaining and fun but apparently it's hated by a lot of people so maybe I'm alone.

One of my favorite Stallone movies!! Such an underrated movie with nonstop suspense!

Great action and nonstop tension. Stallone is great in this, and I wish Viggo had more screen time. Intense and solid, deserves a chance.

Good disaster action flick, nothing unexpected but it works because you know what you’re going to get

Outside of Amy Brenneman, Sly’s supporting cast is bad and they make the worst possible decision every time. Still a fun and breezy watch.

Watched it without getting annoyed but there was not much imagination or anything else to it.

While it delivers solid action and tense moments, but the plot is formulaic, and the character development is thin.
