Never try to remake a classic horror movie from the 80s it almost always ends up bad
Go with the original Day of the Dead instead.
An okay zombie offering, not the best by a long mile though.
Perhaps the worst remake ever, but an even more abysmal film. Terrible from start to finish and an insult to Romero's film

This is not a remake, its a continuation. A bad but somehow enjoyable one to me.
Even forgetting the fact that this remake is nothing like the 80s Romero classic, it's still awful and packed full of modern horror faux pas
