Yeah, good up to a point, but by the finale U wonder what was it all for, as it becomes just another Jaws or Anaconda with Apes!
Classic so bad it’s good movie, Tim Curry and Earnie Hudson steal the show
I personally enjoyed it but I know it’s a bad film. Just one of my guilty pleasure
Not as strong as the book, but still an entertaining jungle adventure thriller with some generally creepy moments & good special effects.
Bad effects, bad script, bad acting. Even TimCurry couldn’t save this one.
Is it cheesey and dumb? Yes but I still love it and think it’s a lot of fun

It's always a pleasure to watch the evilness in Tim Curry. A great family movie you can enjoy everytime.
Saw it recently, so have no nostalgia for it, this is chessy fun but it still a pretty awful movie, can understand why others enjoy it tho.
Liked it as a kid. Probably cheesy as an adult.
