City of the Living Dead
Horror • NR • 1980 • 1 hr 33 min
There are moments that are intentionally funny, elevated to a funnier status with the English dub. And vice versa.
A dark, brutal film by Fulci with outstanding and grotesque special effects, and a story that feels fresh amongst others like it. Great film
A touch hard to follow, but it's entertaining as hell, and the blood and guts are plentiful.
The first part of fulci’s dead trilogy is quite good bloody and atmospheric
A very haunting and chilling 'ghost zombie' flick with a lot of gross out gore. Squished brains and a maggot storm, Fulci delivers.
Awesome gore effects, super memorable scenes, and a solid story
When it’s good, it’s awesome. But it can kinda drag in some parts. I love the sounds the zombies make though.
Not the best Fulci zombie movie but it will definitely stay with you for quite a while definitely worth a watch 🧟♂️🧟♂️
So bad it’s good. Although some of the cinematography, sound design and music were actually pretty cool.
Like Italian dub horror with mannequin head special effects? Then this is good and for you. Only complaint is multiple deaths by hair grab.
