Jaw dropping cinematography and story with the focus being the critique of the money-driven American dream and its lack lack of humanism
Actually enjoyed this way more than I thought I would. Loved the dialog and camera work.
It's bizarre to think that Orson Welles openly had no idea what he was doing when he made this and it came out amazing.
Every shot is a masterpiece. The story of the rich man who wants to be loved by the people is contemporary.
Nothing can be written, that hasn't already, but how this film feels nearly modern is an incredible accomplishment.
Orson masterfully directed, co-wrote, and starred in this all-time great. Watch Kane remastered. It somehow looks modern and feels timeless.
Considered the greatest movie of all time, and for good reasons. Groundbreaking and unlike any other film of its time.
Whether you're studying it or watching it casually, Citizen Kane is undoubtedly a hugely influential and gripping masterpiece.

Orson Welles’ iconic classic. The writing and photography are great. I don’t think it’s best film ever but it’s very well made..
