Nearly a decade after occupation by an extraterrestrial force, the lives of a Chicago neighborhood on both sides of the conflict are explored. In a working-class Chicago neighborhood occupied by an alien force for nine years, increased surveillance and the restriction of civil rights have given rise to an authoritarian system -- and dissent among the populace.

Unfocused and a bit hard to follow brings everything together very quicky at the end
The film has nothing to do with what it winds in its posters and it's trailer. A film about politics and far from the action
Terrific. Compelling and intelligent. A well told story with minimal dialogue and without unnecessary elaboration.
A TV show would’ve given the time to flesh out the characters this movie needs. Topical, but not strong enough to deliver its point fully.
A solid political commentary that tries to dissect Fascism and terrorism. It has a lot of interesting ideas, but isn't able to sustain them.
Not what the trailers made it out to be. Very slow and political. I found it impossible to care about any of the characters.
Failed sci fi. It’s just boring and the pace never picks up
A bit slow, nice ending. It deserved a bit more of enthusiam in scenes rather than hidden in the credits.
Really underrated sci-fi film. Definitely worth watching. A bit unexpected.
All the quality of a low effort Netflix original that was somehow released in theaters.
