A superb action-drama movie with a tremendous cast and script. Tom Hanks, once again, comes through. Well told story but it’s quite tense.
An amazing and tense movie that makes me think how a real person had to go through all this. Amazing acting by Tom and the pirates.
The famous “I am the captain now”…only to realize the movie will go to great lengths just showing..how much he is not the captain
High tensions and an incredible true story. Hanks puts in a master class of acting. Abdi was also outstanding. Scary circumstances.
Woah. The movie is just amazing. Only con is that the real events were the opposite, Captain Phillips hid instead of defended his crew

They tried to make a story simple story into a movie, and I think they did as good as the possibly could. Nothing to write home about though
Solid movie. Not my fav of Hanks. Still well done and keeps you vested.
