Brilliant crime thriller, tense and superbly acted
I love Robert Mitchum’s portrayal of Max Cady. The most terrifying violence Cady inflicts is not shown and it lets you imagine what happened
Better than the remake, less shock factor a lot more substance. Leaves you feeling a little unsafe
