Fantastic romantic comedy drama, great cast
Not my usual fare (romance, self absorbed journos) but surprisingly good. The characters & their connections so well written & performed.
Really fun storyline and Holly Hunter is absolutely delightful
Great performances by Hurt, Hunter & Brooks and a witty script make this cable news dramedy a memorable and endearing film.
That trio of actors is the real Holy Trinity.
Doesn't get much better. Hunter is brilliant, Hurt is perfect and Brooks should have won an Oscar for his debut news anchor scene alone.
one of my favorite criterion blind-buys. sounded good but i did not expect to like it as much as i did.

Romantic comedy of journalism. This is a vehicle for excellence from the casting. Brooks is sensational. Hunter is a natural wit.
