A treasure. While not following the book as closely as the 1981 British drama, it's a good start for the new generation.
Solid book adaptation with a gorgeous score. Especially useful if you don’t have 659 minutes to watch the 1981 miniseries!
Surprisingly well paced considering the breadth of time covered in the source material, although some of my favorite moments got cut.
In line to other similar historic movies.
It was too slow for my taste and very twisted.
