Hard movie to watch. It does portray violence against a trans male. It does tell the story really well though& Swank did justice to Brandon
It's quite hard to watch. And all the performance was great.
Swank distills the complexities of Brandon's life into a powerful performance. Reminds me of Renee Falconetti. Sevigny is Swank's equal.
