This movie thinks it is more clever and witty than it actually is.
A little over the top and only slightly entertaining.
Dated to the max. I have never been a fan of rom-coms but this one... Whoah.
Classic romantic comedy with a stellar cast. Nice soundtrack. The protagonist’s redemption arc is a bit forced, but great movie otherwise.

I don't even remember anything from this movie.
Was a new pace for Murphy at this time so I regard as a film he more or less succeeded with!
relationship issues, playing the field but having to grow up, 90s R&B, if you fancy that sort of thing....
Player gets played, but will he give up the game, or get played again?
