When Environmental Protection Agency inspector Steve Malone travels to a remote military base in order to check for toxic materials, he brings his family along for the ride. After arriving at the base, his teenage daughter Marti befriends Jean Platt, daughter of the base's commander, General Platt. When people at the base begin acting strangely, Marti becomes convinced that they are slowly being replaced by plant-like aliens.

A good remake that’s very eerie and creepy

Fantastic update that feels like it was made for me, hence the full star rating.

Fun interpretation on the classic, though I prefer the original. Ferrara’s style still shines through. Fun body slurp effects.

It’s a reasonable remake, not life changing but definitely not the worst.

This is the movie was a major influencer

The original was good. The seventies remake was better. This was not.

This movie really fixated on the nipply elements of the 70s remake and not much else. Characters seem stupid/not grounded&the acting is bad.
