Ethan Hawke shed a tear at a Q&A when someone that knew the real-life Blaze said he got him right.

A charming lead character, funny and airy movie

The films lack of ambition holds it back from being a standard biopic. He deserved a richer film

Good acting and mostly good storytelling but just not super entertaining and hard to get into but enjoyable if you like the kind of music
