Absolutely loved the story and aesthetic of this film
I’d love to see a good remake of this. But as it is, it fits snuggly within the realm of classic, gothic horror.
My favorite Mario Bava film. Great slow burn horror.
Eerie, clever, great effects, albeit with dodgy acting. This is a proper classic of horror cinema.

Thickly atmospheric witch tale starring horror icon Barbara Steele at the height of her star power. Elegant and creepy, a true classic.
Nice atmosphere, but too long and too slow to be truly interesting.
Probably i get scared easily but during the view i was literally dying for the suspense and the terrible fear of some kind of surprises
It's like C.D. Friedrich's romantic landscapes in black and white
Not quite up to par with what Bava would later do with the giallo genre, but still a very solid piece of atmospheric horror.
