De Niro certainly is an excellent raconteur
Movie based on a book that didn't quite lend itself to adaptation. Read Another Bullshit Night in Suck City and skip the movie.
Of course it’s good. Everything I’ve seen with Paul Dano is very good.
Decent enough but not a movie I'd watch again willingly. Maybe if I was randomly flicking through channels on the TV though.
Nice try at father/son reconciliation but it's a novel-length issue that doesn't fit a film format.
Slow and lackluster plot that relies heavily on talented actors and interesting characters. A 7.5/10, Paul Dano is pretty.
De Niro steals the movie, but Dano’s performance is also quite moving. Emotionally complex, philosophical film based on a great book.
Definitely nowhere near De Niro or Dano's best. a good time waster if you need that sort of thing
well the acting is great but the movie isn’t very good. paul dano is a cutie in this one
Well, I approve. We're put on this Earth to help other people.
