Because of Winn-Dixie was my favorite book as a child. The movie is very well done and stays true to the book. Still love it as an adult.
This movie made me cry every time as a kid but I absolutely loved it. Genuinely good movie.
I never read the book, but I’m sure this is a case where it is better. Robb as Opal is the highlight bringing joy to an otherwise dull film.
The book is better but I’m a sucker for movies with dogs.
