Bay of Angels

Some might find it repetitive, and it is, but there’s something about these actors and the cycle of winning and losing that I like to watch.

A new gambler falls in w/a veteran both at the tables and in bed. They win, they lose, they repeat. Never gets beneath the surface, though.

I love Jacque Demy’s style, and despite being pretty repetitive I never got bored.

Enjoyable yet frustrating at times, but considering the amount of roulette action involved, the film does a good job of never getting dull.
