I really like how the movie felt like it just felt different

You can forgive the writers for some uncertainties. It’s cool that there is a movie about such art genius

More of a dramatisation rather than a documentary. Still a good movie.

Superficial look at Soho art scene. Don't get to understand Basquiat or why he created art. More a guided tour than examination of artist.

Good lead acting & the direction really conveys an 80s/artsy feel but a doc or similar format might be a better introduction to Basquiat tbh
