A heartfelt tale of love, loss and consequences. It would have been more realistic if the actresses were in Giamatti's league, looks-wise.
Hapless Canadian Everyman just wants to watch ice hockey while his In-laws want ambition. A morality tale about just wanting to be average.
Despite the fact that it seemed to go on and I was continually wondering where it was heading, I kind of liked it.
It never really takes off. Giamatti tries, but it’s boring.
