Surreal horror movie with a twist that you won't expect. You won't look at Air BnB's the same way again
Definitely not what I was expecting, which was what made it good but combined with aspects of what I actually expect from a movie like this
I thought it was going to be just another typical slasher/torture porn horror flick. Fortunately it turned out to be something different.
Do your best to avoid any and all spoilers. If you go in with knowledge or expectations, Barbarian just won’t have the same WTF factor.
Bold horror with Hitchcockian twist. Creepy monster, strong acting. Some subplots drag, but innovative storytelling shines.
A classic "girl, get yourself out of there NOW" story that somehow manages to be something completely fresh.
Awesome film! Ending was ok but the rest of the movie made up for it. A sleeper hit IMO, the story progression took me by surprise. A+ cast.
To watch a horror film in present time and be completely bewildered and compelled makes for a job well done. Completely unpredictable!
