An unusual explorer named Gum and his kindly niece adopt three orphans -- Pauline, Petrova and Posy -- and raise them as sisters in 1930s London. But the girls must fend for themselves when Gum doesn't return from one of his adventures. I loved this film as a kid. If you like ballet, you’ll like this
I made this movie (and the book it’s based on) my entire personality when I was eleven and I have no regrets.
I fell in love. Three girls fullfilling their dreams and becoming the best version of themselves while growing up.
I enjoyed it at the time mainly watched for Emma Watson
Sweet and weirdly drenched in 2000 nostalgia somehow. I probably won‘t watch it again but I liked it at the time.
Just a lovely story. Emma Watson recreated the character perfectly.
It was less about a passion for dancing and more about maturing. And the girls struggles. And it was pretty slow paced.
[A] pleasant if uninspired adaptation of Noel Streatfeild's children's classic.
Very wholesome but somewhat underwhelming
Not that bad. It's a little bit slow and boring
