A successful TV star during the 1960s, former "Hogan's Heroes" actor Bob Crane projects a wholesome family-man image, but this front masks his persona as a sex addict who records and photographs his many encounters with women, often with the help of his seedy friend, John Henry Carpenter. This biographical drama reveals how Crane's double life takes its toll on him and his family, and ultimately contributes to his death.

The transformation from church-going juice-drinker to obsessed pornographer was so fast that I felt like too much of the story was untold.

A very strange movie, but has legitimate vibes. The great performances were tantalizing.

Really fascinating insight into a man I never knew existed. Will really hit you if you’ve experienced what he experienced.

Greg Kinnear is really underrated. His perfomances matches up pretty good woth Shrader style.

Willem Dafoe and Greg Kinnear are amazing.
