Great mood piece from Louis Malle with fantastic use of setting. Lancaster and Sarandon are great, with the former doing career-best work.
A Film focused on quirky characters that works. Lancaster is an aging numbers runner. A flic Wes Anderson could make if he was dramatic.
It was fine. Lancaster is really good as an aging criminal. Sarandon stands out.
Tight script that is well executed by the director and cast. Provides a sense of the ongoing underbelly of Atlantic City.
