Texan Charles Farmer left the Air Force as a young man to save the family ranch when his dad died. Like most American ranchers, he owes his bank. Unlike most, he's an astrophysicist with a rocket in his barn - one he's built and wants to take into space. It's his dream. The FBI puts him under surveillance when he tries to buy rocket fuel, and the FAA stalls him when he files a flight plan – but Charles is undeterred.

It was trying to be inspiring but ended up being forgettable.

Typical follow your dreams and you can achieve anything, even becoming an astronaut…. Even though you’re just a farmer…. Okay

This optimistic little movie would be a holiday classic if it was focused on Christmas instead of space travel.

That was a lot more boring than I expected. Haven't seen it in a while but it's really a passable movie.

I dunno. I mean, I think I remember enjoying it as I was watching it, but I really don't remember much of anything about it.
