Cleverly showcases how positive human desires (connection, family, reciprocity) can go off the rails and lead people to excuse pure evil.
Tense and compelling drama. 2012 produced so many great movies, and Arbitrage is right up there with the best of them. Slow but suspenseful.
Gere plays a super-smart asshole that we can’t help but root for. Masterful storytelling that had me justifying his actions throughout.
I mainly watched this to get my Brit Marling fix but the movie is good.
Its shot like a TVmovie and scored like a Deus Ex game but Gere is terrific in this tense film about a man under a collapsing house of cards
Enjoyable movie to watch, shows you that things aren't what they seem
Good mystery thriller drama with some great twists.
There is no arbitrage
I liked it.
Bland and shit ending.
