Fantastic soundtrack; visual tale of perseverance, even if it is in vain
It’s interesting, a bit peculiar, and the thing that the movie is a musical it’s weird. It’s dense and slow, but once again interesting.
A Captivating Story of Vision and Discovery 8/10
Having grown up in some charismatic circles, this is super accurate to how fast psychosis takes hold in these communities.
Good acting. Made me reasearch about the real history of Ann Lee
I didn't quite understand the topic, but the choreography sequences are gorgeous.
Underrated. Historical musical about the early founder of the Shakers in the US. Really stunning music and visuals.
The only redeeming quality of this seemingly endless movie is that it’s true, which is why it was so weird and boring.
