A fairly unique sci-fi experience. A rather bleak tale of the best and worst of humanity. Overall it stayed interesting throughout the film.
A unique look at existentialism and community, Anita has a unique story with good script and strong performances to back it up. ☆4.1/5
Swedish sci-fi based on Nobel laureate epic poem-go figure. Focus is character, emotion, eroticism on trip to Mars. No aliens or weapons.
One of the best contemporary films I have seen in recent times. A must see. True existentialist science fiction.
A brilliant essay on human existentialism through the lens of science fiction. Will leave you angsted and full of questions.
Existentialist sci-fi at its best. An absolute must see
A beautiful, yet dark movie that touches on the themes of hope, despair and irrationality.
Not the feel-good movie of the year, but it made me feel more than anything else I've seen in 2019.
Like the poem it’s based on, this film might possibly be more about what the text is doing rather than what it is saying—form over content.
Excellent but would have been way darker if it was Americans, especially post COVID. These folks are v well behaved considering their trauma
