Tale of a poor Irish family w/alcoholic father, living on charity, making the streets their playground. Doesn't have McCourt's style.
This is one of those dramas that stick in your mind for a while. Is not as easy as it seems to take that story of a boy growing up>boy hood
Story of poor Irish family's very powerful film I have lived through them times it does hit home
Unflinching, maintains an optimistic tone through the darkness of a young boy's childhood.
Sad. Heavy. Emotional. It is a good film, but expect something slow.
Very good view into the harsh reality of Irish history. Although as to be expected less good than the book still absolutely worth to watch.
Decent biographical historic drama movie with good acting
A well made film with excelent and powerfull acting. It has everything. This is a masterpiece tht needs to be recommended.
Great adaptation of an excellent book
