One of the most underrated musicals in the whole genre. Brilliantly directed with perhaps Kelly’s greatest performance.

Some very classic songs and dance numbers. Kelly and Sinatra are delightful! Gene dances with Jerry from Tom and Jerry. It’s marvelous!
Kelly is a technically amazing dancer, but I find him smarmy and “look at me“ rather than joyful. Sinatra is charming here though.
Fun, entertaining, a true spectacle. The kind of movie that never bores you.
