Anatomy of a Fall

Everyone in the audience was tempted to decide who to side with, only to then realize the very message of the film: reality is subjective.

Brilliant acting and honest writing elevates this legal drama to something more. Humanizes a child’s complex reaction to family trauma.

Like a real life trial, this is dense, fatiguing & perhaps overly long but it remains highly engaging & a masterpiece in near every regard.

A nuanced courtroom mystery. Not usually my favourite genre but this was well contrived and executed.
