Rare biopic that works and Keeps you engaged. It rides on the shoulders of the 2 leads and they deliver
For a biopic, well done. Focused on a short time span in LBJs presidency. Shows his inner conflicts & insecurities. Cranston does good work.
A nice look at history and how different and not different politics are today
Cranston as LBJ is some of the best acting I’ve seen in a long time
Pretty decent for what it is and what it’s trying to be. Anthony Mackie and Bryan Cranston are the standouts, without a doubt.
Bryan Cranston gives a dynamite performance as LBJ in this riveting adaptation of the Broadway play. Highly recommended.
Bryan Cranston’s performance saves it. A flawed, idealized take on a President, full of inconsistencies around the pre- and post-JFK era.
Cranston is stellar and LBJ’s personality is well captured, but the filmmaking is tepid.
A good performance by Cranston but other than that it is quite dull
Cranston is great as LB Johnson but the movie could have been more interesting.
