The tone of the book was lost and the plot was rushed to the point of ruining the experience of the film.
The movie looked really good but it was long and boring.
Boring treacle, though Cruz has come a long way since then. "Horses Are Pretty" would have been better.
All star cast. 3 star movie. 4 star entertainment.
Average western romance
Its a romantic epic.
