The novel is great! This movie is really good. The remake in the 2000s is a horrible mess.
Classic portrait of political corruption shows things have not changed as much as we imagine. Towering performance by Broderick Crawford.
A tale as old as time, told in a dated yet entertaining way. Not amazing but definitely an older movie that’s still worth the watch
This movie made me think about myself. If I'll ever have a possition of power will I stay the same or I'll let it corrupt me
You can see the influence it had on many other political movies.
