This film was hopelessly drab until Sir Ian McKellen decided to drop by.
Powerful, emotional, a man trying to pull his real life back together.
Who better to play Shakespeare than Kenny? It's not bad, just a little self-indulgent.
An overlooked film. The cast is stellar, cinematography beautiful and story is unique. It does have some slow parts, but overall good.
Not even the stellar cast could save what is the most boring part of the life of one of the greatest writers to have ever lived.
Didn't grip me, interesting story otherwise.
A beautiful, insightful, deeply nuanced tapestry of the Bard's final days. Faultless.
It's only good because of the historical story.
This was pretty decent adaptation of a part of Shakespeare's life, but that's the problem it's not a full biopic. Still, cast is remarkable.
