I hate movies about standup comedians where the "comedian" isn't funny even when the movie wants us to think they are. So fake.
It wants to say more than it seems capable of doing so. It also doesn't seem to realise that the comedian lead isn't overly funny.
Great performance by Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Common is mediocre and the side characters are mostly one-note. She carries this entire film.
Vale la pena verla por la gran actuación de Winstead. Pobres actuaciones de Castillo y Common.
