Interesting concept, good acting. Could have been better but a solid effort.
This is inspired by the story of a real person who escaped slavery in the 1960s/70s. While it's heavily fictionalized, it's still shocking.

Disappointing! I’d sworn off slave movies but watched for Keke + the unique plot. Doesn’t live up to potential or do the story justice IMO
Creative idea, but sadly poor execution. Very slow.
Keke Palmer is basically the movie everything else is good wish it was better but it a interesting concept and story that can be done better
I feel like she coulda explained her situation alot better which woulda made things alot easier
Cool movie. The final act needed a bit more juice but still a good movie. To me it is not about race or gender.
