Great story about a father and a son finding themselves though the worst and the best. Simple but very emotional
Very minimalist and mellow movie. Realistic, well-developed characters. Not as great as some of Kore-eda’s other movies, but still solid.

time, nostalgia, acceptance, maturity. sad and funny, desperate and delirious. our boy hirokazu doesn't miss
Kore-eda gently punches your feelings then leaves you with debt, rain, and existential parenting issues.
Had the same idea for a movie. Koreeda did it better than I could ever imagine. I cannot even complain it's so good.
One of the least interesting Kore-eda. Way too slow and pretty superficial exploration of themes that are handled way better in other movies

In love with the grandma❤ the conversation she had with his son was one of the most beautiful things I've ever watched.
