This is a very weird and uncomfortable movie which I absolutely enjoyed. Isn't going to be for everyone though.
a slow lingering piece of swedish cinema that unexpectedly conjures up emotions when you fear there is none.
Tough to care about anything, but amazing cinematography and framing, such a visual treat it really sucks that everything else is lacking
Ashamed to admit this was my gateway movie to Roy Andersson. Hard to digest, but visually remarkable. Not for the average viewer.
I walked out of it and didn’t remember the movie
So exquisite it belongs in an art museum
Very contemplative and asks a lot from its audience.
Photography beautiful. Thematically opaque. Lucky there was a narrator.
I like how pale and lifeless every thing/one looks and the silence in most scenes
