Not easily categorized, as I laughed a lot, cried a couple of times, and felt quite reflective when it was all over. A wonderful winner.
I saw this a very long time ago, but I remember liking it. Who knew Nicholas Hoult would turn into the superstar he is today!
Oh to Hugh Grant making the cutest movies of the 90s and 2000s. I love this one!

A more serious film than expected. Grant plays his typical “Manchild” makes good role. Acting is good. Hoult and Collette steal the show.
Its no Love Actually but its still an amazing film
Good movie for background (when you don’t want to listen to music).
Keen observational melodrama, & no that's not just a funny comment, as a lot of this film is with Hugh & co being couch potatoes!
