It’s a gorgeously looking movie, with an unfortunate weak Screenplay!
There were clearly some good ideas, themes, and plot points, but it didn’t land them. This could have easily been so much better.
Never read the book but this really wasn’t a good movie. Poor writing, disjointed plot & v bizarre casting/costuming waste the Disney budget

Just one big giant over produced mess. There’s so many things they are trying to do and they just don’t nail any of them.
Had a good plot set up, but it didn't use it to the full potential and the visuals left something to be desired. Expected more
such an underwhelming movie. i excepted so much from this because of the book, but they destroyed such a good story.
Personally I didn't like it but all my friends say it's good so... yeah
