I like the way this turns out. Not a brilliant film, but definitely Allen knows what the subject is and how to face it
It’s weird but also funny as usual Allen’ movie.
Odd atmosphere. Those expecting a raucous comedy should beware.
If you've read Chehkov, seen Bergman, enjoy European theater/film comedy of manners, this is a good spoof. Smart & dumb at the same time.
Just not really fun or even good, kind of self-indulgent in the same way as Stardust Memories
