Beautiful cast, wonderful seeing Rickman direct again. It’s a period drama with a feministic perspective which I adore, quite refreshing

There were some touching scenes. Matthias Schoenaerts is incomparable. It lost me on the final flashback scene with Sabine's family.
An amazing cast. Probably could’ve used more development in some areas, but it’s good as is too.
I wasn't expecting very much of it as I'm usually not a fan of rom-coms. But this one was truly lovely and funny! Great distribution too!
I watched it without expectations, and it surprised me with excellent acting, an interesting plot, solid photography and believable romance.
The acting and storyline are superb. Great period piece romantic movie!
There seemed to be some subtext I was consistently missing, so I often felt lost. Wound up feeling disjointed and cold.
