Charlie is the master. Even though a short one, this is a good watch from his films. One of his more heartwarming ones
Another brilliant performance of Charlie Chaplin in one of his early works
I liked it I just find it hard to rate because it’s so short and old
An empathetic, smart, charming, and very funny film from one of the all-time masters of cinema. One of Chaplin’s best shorts.
For its time, this is incredible. Acting is physical comedy played with compassion. Set building & music phenomenal for a silent film.
Very iconic with some nice shots but still not as golden as later works
Some hilarious sequences that keep the pace quick and light
Charlie Chaplin is the pure embodiment of an icon.
Much like other Chaplin's, it's more of a series of scenes than a film, but they are good scenes. I often felt bad for the dog though.
Not Chaplin’s best, enjoyable nonetheless.
