Expertly kicks off with dark humor as a beacon for the darkest/scariest -- and therefore most rewarding -- version of the carol. Love it.
Good Christmas movie , First movie I ever watched in 3d so emotional value I guess , wouldn’t watch it again
Scrooge is a damaged & cruel man here, which was effective but lacked the light and sense of hope of most adaptations. Not very Christmassy.
NOT a background movie. It showcases societies moral rot & truths we’d rather ignore. Dickens would be proud! it’s 100% a holiday staple❕
Some will be enamored of the Gothic vibe, but for me, it dragged, and this made it almost intolerable. Shame, because it's good otherwise.
Slightly different, intriguing and dark adaptation of the story. It didn't need to be 3h when the ending felt rushed. It's decent enough.
