A Bay of Blood
Horror • 1971 • 1 hr 25 min
Slow movie with great kills and beautiful camerawork, worth watching for fans of slashers and italian horror.
Amazing one of the holy grails of early slasher films a must for any self respecting horror fan
More or less defined slashers, but has a considerably more elaborate story and a fun sense of humor to seperate it from the genre pack.
Every slasher film owes it to this one. It is a masterpiece from Mario Bava.
Personally I thought it was slow and confusing, Especially with two of the actors looking super similar
The kills are pretty epic, however the plot is kinda confusing and the verbiage is odd.
The film that Friday the 13th stole from, Bava's mean murder mystery is suspenseful and gory.
Slow early on, but gets really good later into the movie once the plot starts moving along.
This proto-slasher benefits greatly from Bava’s slick directorial sensibilities and a fantastic musical score.
Saw this is pieces because I kept falling asleep
