Just a devastating film to watch. Beautiful but the ending hits you like a ton of bricks
Small poignant story that doesn’t offer too much outside of just two heartbreaking performances
I wanted to like it and understand it, but maybe I am just too young for this
Underrated movie, a little slow but worth every second
Got me thinking a lot, sad, portrays loneliness really good and it’s overall heartbreaking
Very interesting, it's unusual to see films centered on elderly people and this made it somehow refreshing, even if the story is quite sad
Maybe I’ll like it better after 45 years of marriage. Not sure.
Very slow and kind of boring but good performances
Every set feels like a natural, three dimensional space, the pacing is superb, the acting is career defining, but it won't change your life.
A slow paced character drama with more than a few punches. Don't let too much smoke get in your eyes.
the film is very restrained which is great to analyze the feelings burried within. it's very elegant and Charlotte Rampling is flawless.
A devastating portrait of an unhappy marriage with top-notch performances from both Courtenay and especially Rampling.
Wasn’t quite dramatic enough for my taste, but it’s worth a watch for the performances and the food for thought regarding relationships.
good movie worth the watch. this truly broke my heart, the way everything unfolds slowly, made it hurt more
A great plot. The acting is perfect. This is a must see. It’s not a high flying movie. Just two actors doing their jobs expertly.
Don’t watch the trailer! It hyped it up a lot. In a weird way suspenseful but very slow burn. Which is not always bad. Good movie though.
Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtenay deliver the performances of the decade as a married couple haunted by the past.
A little bit boring
So underrated! I absolutely love it.
