A very impressive historical film at the time it came out and still a good portrait about Columbus‘ expedition.
A nice period piece, highlights the struggles of being a governor in basically a tropical swamp.
It’s got a lotta great visuals but it’s short on story and character development. Not historically accurate neither.
Highly developed epic story for such a globally famous historical figure! Well crafted!
Such a waste of an oportunity. The cast and the scenery are great, its just too slow and uneventful to watch
Good soundtrack but storyline is not great and charming
The kind of movie you watch on history class
Looks gorgeous but otherwise truly terrible in every way.
Great story and well acted, just so slow, its hard to stay interested.
Too old fashioned, it has poorly aged
