I fell in love with this film as a young teenager.
Classic movie worth a watch. Paul Dooley is priceless
Surprised this was an Oscar-nominated film because it seemed so generic in concept and average in execution. The characters were likable.
Wonderful, charming movie that is relatable on so many levels, even today. Funny and poignant script w/ some great actors that made it big.
I love this movie. It has a great cast and it’s a good story.
Decent coming of age flick with an ok cast but very little good action or dynamic tension!
For anyone that's been an underdog: local kids up against int'l bicycling teams. Funny, yet prescient look at the effects of social class.
Inspiring sports movie with humour and good acting.
Lots of big themes tackled here, pretty sloppy film but overall it’s worth watching once
This is a great coming-of-age film with some fine performances.
